Join Cafe Brazil in October to Raise Funds for the North Texas Food Bank

Did you know that 24.3 percent of children in Texas aren’t sure where their next meal is coming from? That’s nearly 1 in 4 Texans under 18 years of age—or 1.6 million children— that don’t have access to the foods that they need to lead active, healthy lives.

This means Texas has one of the highest rates of child food insecurity in the nation.

The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) seeks to eliminate hunger by distributing food and grocery products through a network of nonprofit organizations while providing education and increasing community awareness on issues of hunger.

Cafe Brazil is joining forces with the NTFB to raise funds in the month of October.

We’d like your help in making a difference in the lives of people in need, right here in our own community.  Here’s how:

  1. Click on this link to donate to the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB).
  2. We’d like to ask you to make a minimum $10 donation to the cause.
  3. You’ll receive an e-mail confirmation of your donation.
  4. Print off the email confirmation of your donation (or show us the email on your smartphone/iPad/iTouch/laptop) and bring it into any location during business hours between November 8-12, 2010 and we’ll give you any entree of your choice for FREE! Entrees provided will be for dine-in orders only. Not valid on to-go orders.
